TrueTrace is developing WITNESS, the Truth Protocol: an early-stage prototype exploring how independent device signals could support a shared incident record.

Our initial pilot audience is commercial fleet operators and insurers. We want to understand the needs of drivers, fleet teams and claims reviewers before testing a proposed workflow in the field.

The concept would retain encrypted fragments on devices, look for agreement among nearby phones and align relevant perspectives into a Truth Event. Security, consent, device access, battery use, accuracy and legal use all require validation. None of these proposed capabilities is represented as operational.
